The Eating Disorder Referral and Information Center is
dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders.
We provide referrals to eating disorders practitioners,
treatment facilities, and support groups. Referrals to eating
disorder specialists are offered at no charge as a community
service. In addition, we offer general information to the
public about the treatment and prevention of eating disorders
and we hope to promote social attitudes that enhance a healthy

disorders. Dr. Divya Kakaiya, the founder of the program
has been working with eating disorders since 1985 and is
a national speaker and expert with eating disorders. Additionally,

and hold numerous advisory positions on journal. Dr Kakaiya
opened this center because of the enormous need that exists
for an affordable intensive treatment program that can meet
the complex needs of women suffering from an eating disorder.
